Apartment for Rent

A friend of mine was looking for an apartment in Canada, while browsing through the net, he found this ad and he said he had to stop and drink a glass of water then read the ad all over again.

When I got to the second sentence of the ad, I can't help but imagine an eclipse and heard "Time Space Warp ngayon din!" I had to stop everything that I was doing, stop the music, ignore the whole world, and pretend to be stuck in a world where all I had to do to survive was try to comprehend what I was reading.

I just had to share this to everyone!

This home is extensive with an area and a living room open very great of the kitchen, 3 dormitories, 3 bathrooms and one guarida one. The great patio ignores beautiful a great lake. Carport extended, stoppers of the hurricane, increased the illumination, the servant of the closet in the main dormitory, the wood blinds, the cabinets extended in kitchen and the site of the laundry, screen door that slipped of order in the lateral entrance. It includes the guarantee. The home is under 5 years and is near the Turnpike, of the freeway of Sawgrass and the I-95. Restaurants new and purchases of the strip within the distance that walks. We have each convenience that you could always wish. We have a friendly community of neighbors. Portions of activities such as passages, bingo, klutch of the coffe divided groups that roll and for every holiday. The restaurants, the post office and the warehouses are within distance that walks.

6:15 AM

It’s 6:15 AM – and guess what, I am already facing my computer – IN OFFICE!

Woke up at 5:15AM (thanks also to my officemate for double checking that I did wake up hehehe), took a shower and left home 5:45 AM. Since I rode a cab that early, my usual 1.5 hour long ride was cut short to the rush-hour free 20 minute dash.

Unlike any ordinary day, the building security was still not checking bags and do not even care about people coming in or out the premises.
Unlike an ordinary day, I arrived earlier than our office security guard. The usual “Good morning Ma’am” became “Good morning po!” while in a shocked face because he was still in his civilian uniform when he saw me.
Unlike an ordinary morning, the office door was still locked and a guard had to open it up for me. I AM THE FIRST PERSON IN OFFICE. Well, not literally, I am the first employee in office.

The facilities staff is still mopping the floors, the aircond is still ‘warming up’ (what an ironic statement), and it feels more of a hot, humid, vacuum work area at this very moment.
They are also setting up for a morning event at 8AM, where everyone will get free breakfast from Mcdonalds. They are sound checking, network checking, cleaning, while some jazz music is playing in the background (Huh? Jazz music? Yeah, I guess the ‘facility man’ is more musically cultured than most people) –
Jazz music, this was soothing – especially for someone like me who only had a few hours sleep last night.

Soothing… Relaxing… Zzzzz…

Sino Sikat?

My friends invited me to watch the album launch of a new band - “Sino Sikat?”
One of the band members was an acquaintance back in college and we had common friends; aside from the fact that we were in the same course in UP Diliman.
PINOY SOUL: this is what Sino Sikat? is all about. I love it!

It was also refreshing to see some old friends who were once close buddies back in the college days. We’re now busy with work or some, still with school, but somehow, we’re still the same people who were friends since the late 90’s/early millenium. Hehehe.

More Than Meets the Eye

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOOOVE THE TRANSFORMERS MOVIE!!!

It’s so A-M-A-ZINGGGGGG!!! The details were so intricate, from the way they transform, the gears that move on their joints, down to Bumble Bee’s car freshener “Bee-otch!” The plot was also sufficient and funny. I have never imagined Robots could be so fun! For a while I thought the movie would be a cliché when there was an attempt for the usual “lover’s kiss before we part ways and possibly die” scene… but good thing, they didn’t kiss. Whew. That would have turned me off from the movie.

Anyway, I noticed there wasn’t any Decepticon symbol seen. BTW, Megatron is really frightening. Optimus Prime, I think you are a “crushie” material. Hahaha! Imagine that!

My most favorite scene was when the Robots were hiding across the yard/house. HAHAHAHA!

Love it love it love it!

(If someone could give me a photo of that, scene, I would forever be grateful to you.)

~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:

I am definitely watching it again (and again and again…). : )
