My mother said that a new neighbor's son saw me and knew that I was his classmate back from gradeschool. I have no idea who that guy is, and the last time we saw each other was during the late 90's... which is more than a decade ago!!!
My first reaction was: Kilala nya ako? Ano pangalan? Wow, kilala pa rin nya ako?
My mom's answer: Kasi yung itsura mo hindi nagbago since nung elementary ka. Kaya mamumukhaan ka pa rin ng classmates mo.
And then it hit me!!!
I LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME SINCE I WAS A KID!
Yeah, the positive thing about that is it means I still look young. Hihihihi.
But the negative implication is that, I did not evolve. Hmmm.
So with much effort to try and 'evolve' myself, I have been planning to do something with my hair: either to change its color or to go curly. Since I love my long black hair and have been getting bored with how I look, I decided to go to the salon and try out the digiperm.
I went to the salon at 6:30 PM, and after 3 grueling hours (yes, it was quite painful having to take all the weight of those curling wires connected to each of the curlers in your hair...), I was real happy with the results:
--- Before --- --- After ---
It may not be such a drastic change but it is one step to reinventing myself.

I already have something in my mind for my next hair adventure... but that's for 2008.
