May I Quote You on That?

I received a lot of journal notebooks for my 18th birthday. A few days after that, December 5, 1998 to be exact; I decided to pick from one of them and start my very own "journal."

Well it's not really an actual journal or a diary, but is more of my collection of quotes and distinctive (mostly ironic) thoughts in mind.

Most of the quotes come from forwarded text messages; but it can actually come from anywhere, anyone, anytime. My favorites have got to be the ones that I got accidentally - those which fit with my "double-meaningness." Quotes like:

"Buckle up, Heaven can wait." - Subic Highway Signage
"Dalawa ang mata ng tao pero sa isa lang nakatingin" - From Dylan, a friend from college
"The moon and the star may never be one, but they will always share the same sky."
"Relax, don't near." - Jeepney Sign
"When you want something, all the world conspires in helping you to achieve it." - The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho

I browsed through it tonight. Almost 9 years of collecting thoughts, what does this made me realize?

~ I need to write more often, it has been years and I still haven't filled out the entire notebook.
~ I had a lot to write during 1999, whn text messaging is still free.
~ My hand writing never changes.
~ I still prefer red ink.
~ My serious thoughts are usually in english.
~ I love one liners.
~ I am almost always optimistic about life.
