Inhale - Exhale
I've had a very hectic past weeks but have survived it (and am still expecting some more hectic weeks to come).
Nevertheless, I have something to look forward to: SUMMER OUTING!
I'd like to go somewhere considerably far from the Metro to kick off my summer. Three beautiful, fun-filled, stress-free days would be fine in equivalence for the 300++ (oftenly stressful) routinary days.

We're planning to go to Boracay before the peak season starts.
Wanna come? :)

Helium Balloon
WHATADAY!!!
Yes, it's almost 1 AM and I am just about to go home after more than 16 hours of working today!
Helium Balloon, that's how I feel right now. I've done OT work before (seldom though) but this has got to be my record (can't wait to offset my millions of OT hours... instant vacation leave for me! woopeee!) Wait, let's go back to the topic... helium balloon... ah...yes.. i feel like that, a floating balloon. When I walk I almost don't feel the floor anymore. I feel like a drugged specie. Eyes wide open but brains are not responding. I feel bloated and at the same time feel hungry as well.
It feels odd to walk alone on corridors, go to the wash room alone, ride the elevator alone; it's an eerie feeling but as I said, I am too 'bangenge' to even feel anything. I haven't combed my hair since I came in office today but I don't really care, I'll just avoid looking at any of my reflections until I get home. I am listening to Richard Marx right now and I don't necessarily like it but I don't really care enought to make me change it.
I have never been fond of being a night owl. I am a morning person. I'd rather wake up earlier than usual than have to miss my regular bed time (10:30 PM).
Ahhh. float float float....
ZZzZzZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............

I don't really blame work for this because I guess everyone would go through these types of pressure one time or another. At least for me this pressure OT's are rare (and planned) occurences.

Phase 2
It’s when you feel YOU ARE OFFICIALLY STRESSED OUT! At times like these…what do you do???
You perform PHASE 2.
Phase 2 is to stop with ALL the task you’re doing and basically start having a break by doing something else that required no pressure. It’s usually cleaning up all the mess in your room, eat your “happy food”, or just the mere feeling of staring at a nice view with an idle face. What’s important with doing Phase 2 is to have a schedule. Of course, Phase 2 is just a phase…just a break from all the stress, therefore, must not take too much of your time.
After performing Phase 2, you will have a clearer mind, your heart will now be beating the normal beats per minute, and your tasks will automatically fall in line… in order of priority, and you will have fresh new start.
~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~
That’s what I am doing now, Phase 2.
I have been doing OT work for the whole week, and tonight, Friday... end of week is the mother OT of all OT! Aside from the fact that I still have to work on weekend.
I AM OFFICIALLY WINDANG!

An Odd Realization
Gradeschool: No one in specific.
Highschool:
“Mr. Sacristan” – Used to be a sacristan on our school church mass. He’s 2 yrs younger than me
and I still have his library card.
He is now gay and far more beautiful than me.
College:
“Dolphin” – Used to be a silent type guy who’s a friend of a friend.
He is also now very gay.
“Blacky” - Used to be blacky for being able to look good in black long sleeve polo shirts even during summer! Someone who used to borrow a pen.
Yes, he is also allegedly (Note: allegedly!) gay… and famous at that.
“Papa Ponkan” – Used to be a nameless classmate on one of my subjects.
No, not gay, but definitely a gay magnet.

Of Earth and Football
I spent 90% of my Saturday and Sunday pretending to be a Landscape Architect for our own “garden”. I have the landscaping concept on paper but the details are all in my mind.
Together with 4 other people, we cleared out the whole front yard, we took off the old pathway bricks, went out to buy new ones then laid it off one by one, we then scrubbed the old bricks for recycling. Bought some blue grass and some more flowering plants then continued leveling the yard. We’re still not completed with the landscaping, though we made a lot of progress in two days. Hopefully I can show you the before and after pictures when we’re done.
The other 10% of the weekend I spent watching the football playoffs (Why? Because that was what my boyfriend was doing and I’ve come to understand the sport because of him. I only know 2 Filipinos who are
So today, I am in office, still jam-packed with tasks and is expecting to spend a lot of over time hours for the next weeks.
Though all my body muscles are aching due to the physically stressful weekend, I am still looking forward to another weekend of completing this landscaping attempt.

Time Bank
A friend once told me about the concept of the TIME BANK. It's where people deposit their free time and withdraw from it anytime they need it.
I wish I had one.
Last night I had to be in two places at the same time. I was in an important dinner and halfway through that dinner I was on the phone to attend to an also very important conference call meeting for work. I guess my boyfriend needed as much time withdrawn from his "time bank" since he had to take me to the bus station to get me the ride home (and I was still on the phone until exactly the time I was getting off the bus); at the same time he had to get heading to work that night too. It was his bestfriend's dinner treat, we unintentionally looked like an "eat and run" couple. :(
My every weekend seems to always go by - too fast. There's so much I wanna do during these days, and there's never an enough time.

Maybe I am getting old, maybe I think I don't make the most out of my time.Or maybe there really isn't ENOUGH TIME that can exist. How do you know you've spent your time perfectly well anyway???

Ano ang LSS mo today?
i-shoot mo na ang ball
i-shoot mo na ang ball
ang sarap magbasketball..."
Aaaarggghh!! The torture...
I just hate this song! This just made my hell day.
I got stuck on MRT for one hour (causing me to be 1.5 hrs late for work!), then the first thing i hear after getting off the train was this "song?!?"
I hate hearing the song and I hate watching the video even more!
I swear, if I had the body like those Viva "hotbabes," i wouldn't have to sing these kinds of songs just to earn me some money!
~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~
Aarggh, the song is too sticky... once you hear it, it would take so much effort to get your subconscious to stop singing it.
AAAAaaarrggghhh!!!
have you heard it?
have you seen the video???

She is Gerbera
Let me introduce you to Gerbera. Her full name is Gerbera Jamesonii. She is very simple, selling from 50 - 150 Philippine Pesos, is odorless, comes in a variety of colors, has a long green stem, and is often mistaken as Daisy, who happens to be her cousin. Her basic necessities are warmth and bright light; and needs to be always kept clean.
Zodiac: Associated with the star sign Leo
History: Little-known 20 years ago, but now extremely popular and fashionable. Gerbera were first imported to Europe in the 19th century.
You can know her better by visiting these pages:

January 1 Has Passed... Again
So whatever happened to my January 1?
It was our first new year on our new house (we moved on October after 18 years!). It has been 1986 since we last moved, I was only 6 then. Though we were in a new house, our new year traditions are still the same:
coins lined up from outside going in
round fruits on the table
rice, salt, bread are there
went to mass at 10 PM
ate at around 11:30 PM - spaghetti, macaroni salad, ham, queso de bola, etc (the usual)
and as always, we didn't have any firecrackers nor fireworks with us. We get contented watching neighbor's displays. Hehehehe.
We had new neighbors (one gave my sister one piece of 'lusis' - naawa siguro kasi nakikinood lang kami), then we went up the terrace to get a better view of the horizon's spectacles. It was great, I got a little dizzy trying to see everything around us, there were fireworks on all directions (all from neighbors and neighboring subdivisions still). Libre na, masaya pa! Hahaha.
Come morning, contrary of what I expected, I had a perfectly good sleep, so I had a very good morning indeed. After breakfast, I spent the whole day being a couch potato and watched the CSI marathon on AXN. Come 6 PM, we had to get dressed up to go to our uncle's house for dinner. I didn't wanna come (since this uncle of mine is the only relative I had word wars with for trying to defend my parents more than a year ago, in short, galit kami sa isa't isa kasi nakahanap siya ng katapat saken), but had to go since this is one of those "family obligations" and considering that all my siblings and parents have been going there often lately. So I went just the same... for the sake of "respect." I didn't enjoy the visit at all, good thing they had SIMS installed on their PC, so I consumed the night away playing.
Then I ended my January 1 having an arguement with my a loved one. Then slept my distress away. Great way to end the start of the year eh?
So today is January 2 again. An ordinary day. Tomorrow will just be another office week.
